재무관리는 기업의 자금조달 및 운용에 관해 공부한다. 즉, 기업의 가치를 극대화하기 위한 투자안의 선택 방법, 투자에 필요한 자금을 최소한의 자본비용으로 조달하는 방안 등에 관한 기업의 합리적인 재무 의사결정을 다룬다. 수업 목표는 현금흐름의 현재 및 미래가치 평가법, 자본비용 계산, 자본예산 관리방법 등을 기업에서 효과적으로 응용, 활용하는 능력을 함양하는 것이다.

Fundamentals of Financial management aims at studying on financing and investment decisions in manufacturing firms. It is to study management decision on making investment to maximize firm value and financing to minimize the cost of capital. Main goal of this subject is to make students understand the valuation of present and future cash-flow, the cost of capital, and capital budgeting issue etc. to raise their application capability.
