본 과목은 컴퓨터 과학을 구성하는 다양한 기초 원리를 소개한다. 본 과목은 컴퓨터 과학을 전공하려는 학생들이 앞으로 배울 여러 기술적인 주제에 대하여 호기심과 흥미를 가질 수 있도록 설계되었다. 본 과목이 다루는 범위는 다음과 같다. 데이터와 수의 표현, 비트 연산, 컴퓨터 구성, 컴퓨터 네트워크, 운영체제, 알고리즘, 프로그래밍 언어, 소프트웨어 공학, 자료구조, 데이터 베이스, 보안, 계산 이론, 및 인공 지능.
교과목해설(영문)
This course introduces various basic principles that constitute computer science. The course is designed for the students who plan to study computer science to have curiosity and interests before they learn many technical topics in the coming years. The scope of the course is as follows: data and number representation, operations on bits, computer orgnization, computer network, operating systems, algorithms, programming languages, software engineering, data structure, data bases, security, theory of computation, and artificial intelligence.
