무용콘텐츠의 창업을 위해서는 어떤 역량이 필요한가? 이를 위해서는 마케팅, 창의적 융합 능력, 관리와 서비스, 조직능력을 아우르는 기업가정신이 요구된다. 「무용경영과 기업가정신」은 예술기업가정신 교육모델을 기초로 무용분야의 새로운 시장발굴, 예술문화상품과 부가가치 창출, 크리에이티브 일자리, 예술창업 비즈니스 플랫폼 등 다양한 가능성을 고려하며 경제 관점을 배가시키는 역량교육을 학습하는 교과목이다. 특히 예술산업의 좁은 구조를 넘어서기 위해서는 무용분야를 기반으로 하는 헬스케어 비지니스 창업 등 지식산업, 서비스산업으로의 잠재성을 인접분야의 비즈니스 모델로부터 벤치마킹하는 시도가 필요하다. 또한 부가가치를 창출하기 위해서는 콘텐츠산업에서 활발하게 이루어지고 있는 OSMU(one-sauce, multi-using) 등 타분야 산업과의 창의적인 융합을 시도해야 한다. 또한 무용과 콘텐츠를 융합하여 창업 아이디어를 개발하는 다양한 시도들을 통해 융합산업과 창업 아이디어를 개진해야 한다. 새로운 직업 시장의 개발, 블루오션을 자생적으로 창출할 수 있어야 한다는 관점에서 무용분야의 신종창업, 스타트업을 도모할 수 있는 구조를 형성하여야 한다.
