Variety of Programs Held at SMU to Encourage Student Employment
Three employment-related programs are currently in progress

I am pretty certain of the fact that most of our students are not familiar with name ‘SMU Recruitment Centre,’ and very few students acknowledge about what events are being held at this centre. Let me introduce to all of you readers about events ongoing in ‘SMU recruitment Centre’ during springtime. There are three of them currently underway, which are ‘2021 SM Special Forces’, ‘2021 SM Re-Spec-TFT’, ‘Biology‧Pharmaceutical Market Job Training.’ All of these programs are tailored specifically for our school students to help their successful employment, so let’s dive in deeper to find out its details.
If You Want Working at Public Enterprise, ‘2021 SM Special Forces’ Has Your Back
First program to introduce is ‘2021 SM Special Forces.’ Starting from April 6th, this program is targeted to students who thinks public enterprise as their future career. The program includes one-on-one consultation about specific field or company each student is interested in, and an evaluation whether student can actually be employed at public enterprise. Unlike other employment-related programs which end up with just basic education, 2021 SM Special Forces focuses on actual success in employment. All of students have a chance of completing three application form while maintaining quality. An impressive seventeen out of twenty-one students passed their career paper examination last year, and seven of them succeeded getting a job at public enterprise. ‘2021 SM Special Forces’ is running until June 2nd.
Employment Support Program Tailored for the One and Only You
Second program from our school’s SMU Recruitment Centre is ‘SM Re-Spec-TFT.’ This is a program which experienced professionals who worked at actual business give advice to selected graduates and 4th-grade undergraduate. Based on data accumulated within several years, students can get job-specific consultation followed by their choice of desired job. They can also learn about analysing corporations and what license is required to earn a specific job. A student who attended last year’s SM Re-Spec-TFT said “while preparing employment alone was difficult to decide directions, attending this program helped me greatly carefully consider the course that was best suited for me.”
Interested in Biology or Pharmaceuticals? This is Your Program

Last program running in SMU Recruitment Centre is ‘Biology‧Pharmaceutical Market Job Training’, which is held from April 16th to June 11th. This program is held in association with Ewha Women’s University and Sookmyung Women’s University. Trainees can learn about marketing strategy in pharmaceutical / medical treatment / medicine industry, and also get a chance of education that teaches about actual communication with medical professionals. Biology‧Pharmaceutical Market Job Training is a total eight-week program, while trainees have to enroll every Friday from 1 PM to 6 PM.
