생화학은 생명현상을 분자수준 즉, 화학적으로 이해하려는 학문으로 생체 구성성분과 대사과정이 주가된다. 대부분의 질병은 분자나 세포수준의 기능 부전의 결과로 나타나기 때문에 생화학은 의학, 약학, 농학, 식품학, 영양학, 간호학 등의 기본학문이라 할수 있다.

Biochemistry is the study to understand life phenomena at the molecular level, namely, the biological constituents and metabolic processes. Biochemistry is a basic science of medicine, pharmacy, agrology, nutrition, and nursing, as most diseases are a result of failure at the molecular and cellular level.
* To learn basic principles and interrelationships necessary to understand the metabolism of the target body, obtain the characteristics of biomaterials, such as carbohydrates, lipids, and protein, and their metabolic processes.
