다양한 분야에서 발생하는 확률적 문제들을 해결할 수 있는 능력을 배양하도록 하는 것이 목표이며, 확률변수, 분포함수, 기대치, 조건부확률, 조건부평균, 극한분포 등의 확률론의 기본개념과 극한정리를 배우고 추정과 가설 검정과 같은 수리통계학 이론을 배운다.
교과목해설(영문)
The goal of this course is for students to have the ability to solve probabilistic problems arising in various fields. This course first introduces basic theory of probability. Topics include random variable, probability distribution, expectation, conditional probability, conditional expectation, limiting distribution. Next, this course introduces limiting theorem and basic theory of statistical inference such as parameter estimation and hypothesis testing.
