정책과 전략의 관계, 전략과 작전술 및 전술의 관계를 이해한다. 그리고 전쟁양상, 전쟁의 영역, 전쟁의 수단 등에 대하여 군사적, 경제적, 심리적인 힘을 활용하고 발전시키는 과정을 고찰한다. 또한 일반학문의 전략이론과 연계하여 전략의 개념과 이론체계, 전략의 변천과정, 현대군사전략, 주변국의 전략을 연구하고 분석해보는 과정이다.
교과목해설(영문)
Students will understand the relation between a policy and a strategy, between a strategy, an operational art and tactics. They also will consider the process to apply and advance the power of military, economy and psychology about the patterns of warfare, the spectrum of warfare, the method or warfare. In addition, students will connect a strategic theory in a general study, and investigate the concept of a strategy, the system of theory, the process of transition of a strategy, modern military strategies, and other countries’ strategies.
