아동의 과학적 개념 발달과 과학교육의 이론을 살펴보고, 이를 바탕으로 과학교육을 수준별로 계획, 실행, 및 평가할 수 있는 방안을 탐색한다. 또한 다양한 교육적 매체를 활용한 아동 과학 교육의 교수방법, 교구의 선택 및 제작방법에 대해 학습하고 현장관찰 및 실습을 통해 이를 적용해 본다.
