현대는 조직사회라고 칭할 수 있을 만큼 다양한 조직이 사회의 구성과 운영에 직·간접적으로 참여하고 있다. 이와 같이 다양한 조직이 우리의 삶에 영향을 미침에 따라서 조직운영의 주체인 ‘사람의 문제’에 대해서도 관심이 증가하고 있다. 즉, 사람의 행동에 대한 이해가 전제되지 않고는 조직을 효과적으로 운영할 수 없을 뿐만 아니라, 조직운영에 필요한 최적의 조직구조 및 관리기법 등을 예측할 수 없다. 본 과목은 조직 내 구성원의 행태를 설명하는 각종 이론을 연구함으로써 조직 내의 ‘사람 문제’의 해결에 대한 방향성을 제시할 뿐만 아니라, 구성원의 행태에 영향을 미치는 요인 등이 조직성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 논의하고자 한다.
교과목해설(영문)
A variety of organizations directly or indirectly not only influence the organizations of society, but also participate the operation of society. As almost all organizations are related to our ordinary life, individuals are interested in “the issue of people” for a better management. That is, it is necessary to understand organizational behavior to effectively operate the organization. Additionally, although we do not understand an individual’s behavior in organizations, it is almost impossible to expect the proper organizational structures and management practices. This class firstly addresses the theories to explain organization members’ behaviors to present the proper directions to solve the problems of people in the organization. Finally, this class will discuss the factors that affect organizational behaviors.
