교과목해설
본 강의의 목적은 수강생들로 하여금 문화예술의 사회적 의의를 이해하고 문화에 대한 정부 개입의 범위, 정당성, 목적, 정책수단 등에 대한 독자적이고 논리적인 사고를 갖추도록 도와주는 데 있다. 문화와 관련된 국가행정의 역할에 초점을 맞추어 진행하며, 나아가 새로운 패러다임인 글로벌시대의 국제간 협력과 국제기업간 협력문제에 대한 올바른 이해를 바탕으로 국제협력의 전문성과 리더십을 함양한다.
교과목해설(영문)
Cultural policy is the area of public policy-making that governs activities related to the arts and culture. Generally, this involves fostering processes, legal classifications and institutions which promote cultural diversity and accessibility, as well as enhancing and promulgating the artistic, ethnic, sociolinguistic, literary and other expressions of all people?especially those of indigenous or broadly representative cultural heritage. Applications of cultural policy-making at the nation-state level could include anything from providing community well-being.
