경제통계학은 경제학에서 강조하는 합리적인 의사결정을 위해 보다 객관적이고 정확한 정보를 수집, 정리, 분석할 수 있도록 하기 위한 필수적인 기초 학문이다. 이 강의에서는 경제통계학 입문에서 배운 기초 이론 내용을 엑셀 등 통계 패키지와 예제 데이터를 활용하여 적용한다. 본 교과를 통해 학생들의 경제 금융 관련 데이터 처리 및 활용 역량을 강화시키고 실제 통계 소프트웨어 활용능력을 배양한다.

Statistics for Economics is an essential basic class to collect, organize, and analyze more objective and accurate information for rational decision-making emphasized in Economics. In this lecture, the basic theories learned in Introductory Statistics for Economics are applied using statistical packages such as Excel. Through this course, students' ability to process and utilize data related to economics and finance is strengthened and their ability to use actual statistical software is cultivated.
